Yet another blog to read...
December 14, 2009
Well, after some issues with my last website provider and the loss of my domain, I decided to try a free website and see what happens from there. So bear with me as I get up to speed..
Despite the shitty weather we have had in ATL for December, I am still running and cycling whenever I get a chance. So far, I have logged about 55 miles in running and about the same in cycling this month. Seems that whenever I want to ride the bike, the weather has other ideas. Like John Lennon once said, " Life is what happens when you make plans."
My plan is to finish out the month with about 120 logged running miles. Taking it a bit easy as the year winds down but in January I start my marathon training and kicking up the mileage. If things work out I will have logged over 1300 running miles in 2009. And over 6100 lifetime miles as well. Not to bad for a person who once had problems running 1300 feet.
2010 is starting to firm up in regards to my running and multisport schedule. Signed up for the ING Georgia marathon, the Tybee island half-marathon and the Silver Comet 10K. In the next weeks I will also be signing up for the Kentucky Derby Festival marathon in Louisville, KY (you actually run part of the track at Churchill Downs) and then the NYC Marathon.
Anyway, let me stop for now. Will be updating more as times goes on. Not only running and multisport postings, but my ramblings as well and links to things I find of interest.
Anyway, excuse me while I kiss the sky..
